Looking for work? Need skills or upgrade training? Veterans Village of San Diego (VVSD) has an office in Oceanside serving all homeless veterans. Some of the employment and training services provided by VVSD include:
- Assessment and referrals
- Short-term vocational training
- Job search assistance
- Interview/work clothing
- Transportation assistance
- Tools, books and supplies
You may be eligible
for services if you are:
- A Veteran
- NOT a home owner or holding a lease/rental agreement under your name
RSVP - Recently Separated Veterans Program
RSVP is a vocational training program funded through the Department of Labor which provides counseling, supportive services, job training and job placement assistance to recently separated veterans who have participated in a campaign in Iraq or Afghanistan—within 48 months of being discharged.
HVRP - Homeless Veterans Reintegration Project
HVRP is a vocational training program funded through the Department of Labor which provides counseling, supportive services, job training and job placement assistance to homeless veterans. You may be eligible for services if you are a veteran with a discharge other than a dishonorable discharge, unemployed and do not have a rental lease agreement or a mortgage in your name.
