Will Hays, Board Secretary
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the Naval Postgraduate School, Captain Hays served with distinction as a naval officer from Korea to Vietnam, commanding three ships during his service and heading three shore commands as well. After leaving the Navy, he joined Dean Witter Reynolds, where he was ultimately appointed an associate vice president. He continued his deep involvement with community activities, serving as president of the Retired Officers Association here in San Diego, Chairman of the United Veterans Council, and serving on the boards of the Veterans Memorial Center and the Military Affairs Committee of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, among his many other interests. |
